Whatu Creative presents our largest Tukutuku Toi Kit. 

Tukutuku is a traditional Māori artform used for storytelling. The Tukutuku Toi Kit promotes Māori culture by teaching you te weave your story through tukutuku patterns. 

The Tukutuku Toi Kit A1 feature:

• 1 x A1 Custom Ply Pegboard (42x61 Pegs) 
• A1 Size- 594Mm x 841Mm x 4mm
• 3 x CUSTOM Coloured Aho Thread: 90m
• 2 x Custom Made Pin Tool 

The Tukutuku Toi Kit A1 is now our largest kit and designed to be easily framed. Multiple boards of this size can be used to replicate the size of traditional Tukutuku we see in our wharenui (ancestral house). We encourage to do this size with 2 or more people and have found this adjustable workbench a great solution.

In our first official release of our extra large Tukutuku Toi Kits we will offer Custom Aho, the option to pick your own 3 colours to tell your story. As we learnt in pre-orders the majority went with our current Aho colour themes. If you wish to have your aho theme customised please click the Custom option followed by an email to info@whatucreative for your colour choices.
